Appointment of Deputy Superintendent.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in the Colony of New Zealand,

I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby in virtue of the powers vested in me in this behalf by the "Superintendent’s Deputy Act, 1856," of the General Assembly of New Zealand, proclaim and appoint

CHARLES WILLIAM SCHULTZE, ESQ., J.P.,

of Wellington, to be my Deputy, and as such to perform and exercise all such acts and powers as by the said Act I am empowered to confer upon a Deputy.

Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four.

Tukapu Road District defined.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Islands of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act of the Provincial Council of the Province of Wellington, Session IX, No. 10, (ten) intituled "An Act to consolidate the law relating to District Highways" it was enacted among other things: That the Superintendent might for the purposes of the said Act from time to time by proclamation divide the Province or any part thereof into districts, and might in like manner subdivide alter and reunite the same: And Whereas by another Act of the said Council Session X, No. 4, the said Act was amended: And Whereas it is expedient to proclaim the portion of the Province hereinafter described to be a district for the purposes of the said Acts:

Now, therefore I, Isaac Earl Featherston, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in virtue of the power and authority in me vested in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that all that portion of the Province comprising the Takapu district, and also sections Numbers nineteen (19), and twenty-three (23), in the Horokiwi road district, and so much of sections Numbers thirty-five (35), and thirty-seven (37), and thirty-nine (39), in the Porirua
