Reserve of Land in the Morea Block open for Sale.

Crown Lands Office,
Wellington, 3rd September, 1864.

WHEREAS certain land in the Morea Block, in the Wairarapa district, has been withheld from sale in consequence of the boundary between it and the Native Land being undefined, And whereas it is now expedient that the said land should be thrown open for sale;

Notice is hereby given accordingly that the Block of unselected land bounded North, South and West by Native Reserve, and East by Native lands; and supposed to contain about 3000 acres; will be thrown open for selection at this Office on Monday, the 10th day of October next, under the Land Regulations of the Province.

A plan of the Land is open for inspection at this Office.

HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified for general information that the Returning Officer has declared the following gentlemen to have been duly elected Commissioners under the “Wellington Town Board Act” and the “Wellington Town Board Amendment Act, 1863,” viz.—

Lambton Ward.

Messrs. John Plimmer, John Howard Wallace, and Joseph Burne.
