NOTE.—Clouds.—10 is an overcast sky, and 0 is a cloudless sky.

Wind.—Force.—The Maximum Pressure in 24 hours in lbs., and decimal parts
of a lb. on the square foot.

Barometer.—The height is reduced to sea level, at a temperature of 32
deg. Far.

Thermometer Means.—Deducible from the Maximum and Minimum readings
at 10 a.m., of the 24 hours previously.

Maximum in Sun\'s Rays, and Maximum and Minimum in Shade—The figures
are the readings at 10 a.m., and like the wind\'s force, thermometer means,
and fall of rain apply to the 24 hours previously.
