HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to make the following appointments, viz:—
In the Wellington Militia.
Lieutenant Charles Daniel De Castro to be Captain. Date of Commission, 13th Nov. 1863.
Ensign David Brown to be Lieutenant, vice De Castro, promoted. Date of Commission, 13th Nov. 1863.
Walter L. Martin to be Lieutenant. Date of Commission, 14 Nov. 1863.
Ensign Godfrey Holdsworth to be Lieutenant, vice Deighton, resigned. Date of Commission, 20th Nov. 1863.
James Kirwan to be Ensign. Date of Commission, 13th Nov. 1863.
In the “Castle Point” Militia District.
Major Edward Gorton to be Major Commanding the Militia and Volunteers. Date of Commission, 23rd Nov. 1863.
