Annual Contracts.
Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 19th November, 1863.
SEALED TENDERS will be received at this office, until Tuesday, 22nd December next, at noon, from persons desirous of executing by contract either of the undermentioned services for the Provincial Government for the twelve months, ending 31st December, 1864.
- Printing the Provincial Government Gazette, at per sheet, and inserting the same in one of the local newspapers; subject to certain conditions of even date herewith, to be seen at this office.
Printing Official Forms.
- Further particulars may be obtained at this office.
Firewood.
- Rata or maunks, in two feet lengths, delivered and stacked at the office, or building requiring the supply. Separate tenders will be required for supplying the Wellington gaol.
The Government or the contractors will be at liberty to terminate any of the above contracts, by giving three months’ notice of their desire to do so.
In the event of the contractors failing in the terms of their contract, the Government to be at liberty to procure the articles elsewhere, charging the increased price, if any, to said contractors.
Each tender for printing the Gazettes, &c., is expressly to state, that it is subject to the conditions alluded to in section 1 above.

Timber Cutting.
Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 25th November, 1863.
NOTICE is hereby given that certain lines of road having been reserved, and laid down upon the Map of the survey of the township of Greytown, Wairarapa, persons are hereby cautioned not to cut or remove any of the timber at present standing upon the said lines of road.

NOTICE is hereby given that it has been duly notified to this office by the Chairman, that the annual meeting of the rate payers of the Horokiwi road district was held on the 18th inst., when the following persons were elected to form a Board of Wardens for the ensuing year:
