I, Stephen Carkeek, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the foregoing is a true and faithful statement of my account as Collector of Customs for the period herein mentioned, and that the sum of £9499 17s. 10d., sterling, paid by me, as above, is the whole amount so received by me from the first day of July to the thirtieth day of September 1863, both days inclusive, and I do make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
