Barometer.—The height is reduced to sea level, at a temperature of 32 deg. Far.

Thermometer Means.—Deducible from the Maximum and Minimum readings at 10 a.m. of the 24 hours previously.

Maximum in Sun’s Rays, and Maximum and Minimum in Shade—These figures are the readings at 10 a.m., and like the wind’s force, thermometer means, and fall of rain apply to the 24 hours previously.
