NOTICE is hereby given that a piece of land situate in the Hutt District containing 100 acres more or less, bounded North East by Section No. 203, South East by Section No. 54, South West by Section No. 183, and North West by Section No. 314 and selection of W. Golfer; will be open for selection at this Office on and after Monday the 26th day of October next, under the Land Regulations of the Province of Wellington.

Supreme Court Notice.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.
MIDDLE DISTRICT.

In the Estate of Thomas Shields, of Wangaehu, deceased. Intestate.

PURSUANT to the rule of this Honourable Court the Creditors of the above named Intestate, are, on or before the Eighteenth day of December next, to come in and prove their debts before Robert Rodger Strang, Esquires, Registrar of the said Court, at his Office in the Court House, Wellington, or in default thereof they will be peremptorily excluded from all benefit arising from the said Estate.

Writ of Foreign Attachment.—Wallace v. Daniell, jr.

VICTORIA by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland Queen.

TO ALFRED De BATH BRANDON of the City of Wellington in the Province of Wellington and Colony of New Zealand, Solicitor, and PETER HUME of Wairarapa, in the said Province, Farmer, Greeting, &c.

WHEREAS an action has been commenced in the Middle District of our Supreme Court of New Zealand at Wellington, wherein John Howard Wallace, of Wellington aforesaid, is plaintiff, and Edward Daniell, the junior, is defendant: And whereas it hath been made known to us that there are moneys and personal property belonging to the said Edward Daniell, junior, now in the hands or in the custody or under the control of you the said Alfred De Bath Brandon and Peter Hume or one of you: We command you and each of you that you do not sell or otherwise dispose of or part with the said money and personal property of the said Edward Daniell, the junior, or any part thereof until the further order of the said Court shall be made known to you.

WITNESS.—Alexander James Johnston, Esquire, a Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, the eighth day of September, 1863.

This writ was sued out by Charles Beard Izard, of Lambton Quay, Wellington, Solicitor for the Plaintiff.
