Governor’s Assent to “Wanganui Bridge Act.”

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Islands of New Zealand.

I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby proclaim and signify, that the Act of the Provincial Council, Session X. Number 6, intituled “An Act to authorise the construction of a Bridge over the Waoganui River, and levying of Tolls on Traffic over the same,” which was reserved by me for the signification of the Governor’s Assent, having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency has been pleased to assent to the same.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of September, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.

ADJOURNED CIRCUIT COURT.

THIS is to give notice that the Circuit Court Sittings of the Supreme Court stand adjourned to WEDNESDAY, the 23rd instant, at 11 o’clock, a.m. at the New Buildings on Lambton Quay, at which time and place special jurors summoned for this day must be in attendance.

THE Sittings in Banco, on Tuesday, the 15th instant, will be held at the Provincial Buildings at 10 a.m.

An extra Sitting of the Court in Banco will be held on Wednesday, the 30th Sept., instant, at 11 o’clock, a.m.

NOTICE.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, Middle District.

PURSUANT to the rule of this honorable Court, the Creditors of the above named Intestate are, on or before, the 15th day of December next, to come in and prove their debts before Robert Rodger Strang, Esq., Registrar of the said Court, at his office in the Court House, Wellington; or in default thereof they will be peremptorily excluded from all benefits arising from the said Estate.

Opening of the Supreme Court Building.

ON THE 23RD SEPTEMBER, 1863.

NOTICE is hereby given that the new Supreme Court Building, on Lambton Quay, will be opened on Wednesday, 23rd September, at 11 o’clock a.m.

Places to witness the opening ceremony will be reserved for Justices of the Peace, Heads of Departments, Ministers of Religion, and Officers in Her Majesty’s Service.

Attendance is requested not later than a quarter to eleven.
