Lands open for Sale.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Islands of New Zealand.

I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby proclaim and notify that the several blocks of land enumerated in the Schedule hereunto annexed, will be open for purchase and selection at the Crown Lands Office, Wellington, on and after Tuesday, the 21st day of July, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, under the Land Regulations of the fourth of March, One thousand eight hundred and fifty-three, and the Additional Land Regulations of the fifteenth February, One thousand eight hundred and fifty-five.

Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington, at L.S. Wellington, this tenth day of June, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.

SCHEDULE

EAST COAST DISTRICT.

Part of the Warekaka Block, containing about 3500 acres,
Known as “Pukenui.” Bounded West by the Ruakokopatuna river to its junction with the Makara River; North and East by the Makara River; and South by the boundary of the Makara Block.

Part of the Awhea Block, containing about 5500 acres,
Known as Te Ahitaitai and Taumanuka. Bounded West by the Makara River; North by the Mangaopari Creek, by a line and by the Taukari Creek; East by Native Reserves; and South by other portion of the Awhea Block.

Pahautanui Board of Wardens.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman of the Board of Wardens for the Pahautanui Small Farm district has notified that the following members of the Board have retired, viz: Messrs. E. Carter, B. Draper, A. Flighty, J. Hurley and C. Stuart; also that Messrs. A. Flighty and C. Stuart have been re-elected, and that Mr. G. L. Goldfinch, has been elected as a member of the Board.
