ANNUAL CONTRACTS.

Provincial Secretary's Office,
Wellington, 1st June, 1863.

SEALED TENDERS will be received at this Office on or before Thursday, 25th instant, at noon, from persons desirous of executing, by contract, any of the undermentioned supplies required for the service of the Provincial Government, during the twelve months' commencing on the 1st July next.

PROVISIONS, &c.

Prisoners' Rations, Wellington Gaol.

Rations as under at per ration.

No. 1 Class.
1 lb. fresh meat, 1 lb. Potatoes, 1 lb. bread, ½ oz. Soap, ¼ oz. Tea, ½ oz. Salt, 2 oz. Sugar.

No. 2 Class.
½ lb. Bread, ½ lb. Potatoes, ¼ lb. Fresh Meat, ¼ oz. Soap, ¼ oz. Salt.

Prisoners in solitary confinement 1½ lb. bread.

These rations are to be subject to the approval of the Warden of the Gaol.

Lunatic Asylum.

Rations as under at per Ration.
12 oz. meat, Beef and Mutton alternately (without bone).
Bread, 1 lb.; Potatoes, 1 lb.; Rice, 6 oz.; Tea, ½ oz.; Sugar, 1½ oz.; 1 gill Milk; ½ oz. Salt.

Charitable Aid.

Rations as under at per Ration.
Bread, 1 lb.; Potatoes, 1 lb.; Meat, ¼ lb.; Tea, ¼ oz.; Sugar, 1½ oz.
