Supreme Court Sittings.

MIDDLE DISTRICT.

NOTICE is hereby given, that a sitting of the Circuit Court of the Supreme Court for the Middle District of New Zealand, for the dispatch of Civil and Criminal business, will be holden at the Court House in the Provincial Government Buildings, at Wellington, on Monday, the 1st day of June next, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, pursuant to proclamation, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances, prosecutors, witnesses, or defendants are required to give their attendance.

Notice is hereby further given that the Civil causes will not be called on for trial until Monday, the 8th day of June next, at 10 o’clock, a.m., to which time the Sittings of the said Circuit Court will be adjourned after the conclusion of the Criminal business.

The Supreme Court will sit in Banca on Monday, the 15th day of June next at 10 o’clock, a.m.

Warrant appointing Petty Sessions of the Peace to be held at Rangitikei.

By His Excellency Sir GEORGE GREY, Knight Commander of the Most Honorable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand, and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same, &c., &c., &c.

KNOW all men by these presents that I, Sir George Grey, the Governor as aforesaid of the said Colony, in pursuance and execution of the power for this purpose vested in me by the “Petty Sessions Act, 1858,” do hereby appoint that Petty Sessions of the Peace shall be held in and for the Petty Sessional District of Rangitikei at the times and places hereinunder set forth, that is to say:—

At Turakina, at the “Ben Nevis” hotel, on the second Tuesday in every month, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

At Marsden, Upper Rangitikei, in the Court House, on the third Wednesday in every month, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

As witness my hand, at New Plymouth, this tenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.
