Election of Provincial Council Members for Wanganui and Rangitikei.

Wellington, 23rd March, 1863.

HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT

directs it to be notified for general information, that writs for the election of two Members to serve in the Provincial Council for the Wanganui and Rangitikei District, having been issued in accordance with clause 12 of "an Act to grant a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand," the Returning Officer has returned the said writs, with certificates that the undermentioned Gentlemen have been duly elected to serve as Members of the said Provincial Council for the said Wanganui and Rangitikei District:

and
JAMES DUNCAN HAWITT.

Election of Provincial Council Member for Wairarapa

Wellington, 23rd March, 1863.

HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT
directs it to be notified for general information, that a writ for the election of a Member to serve in the Provincial Council for the Wairarapa District, having been issued in accordance with clause 12 of "an Act to grant a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand," the Returning Officer has returned the said writ, with a certificate that the undermentioned Gentleman has been duly elected to serve as Member of the said Provincial Council for the said Wairarapa District:

Matthew Hobman, deceased.

NOTICE.

A PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTION having been entered into during the year 1846-7, for the purpose of offering a reward for the apprehension of the murderers of Matthew Hobman:

NOTICE is HEREBY GIVEN that, as the amount of the same has never been required for its original purpose, it will be withdrawn from investment and appropriated to the benefit of Luke Hobman, the heir, who is now of age.

Any of the subscribers objecting to the appropriation of the subscription as above mentioned, are required to make their objection, in writing, to the undersigned, within a fortnight from this date.
