Wainuioru, straight along by the river to Wainuioru and Rarakaikatoa on to the mouth of the Paapuatapatu, on to Ngaawapurua, along Ngaawapurua to the survey line, along the line to the source of Ngakonui, from thence by the river on to Pahaua and joins there.

TAUERU BLOCK, ADJOINING TE WHITI.
Containing about 1500 acres.

The boundary at the South end commencing at the mouth of Taueru River, follows the river upwards to the boundary of a Native Reserve of 156 acres belonging to Hamuera, bends there and crosses over to the Ruamahanga River at the boundary of Hamuera’s land purchased from the Crown, bends there and runs down the Ruamahanga Southward, and terminates at the mouth of the Taueru.

KAHUTARA BUSH BLOCK AND OTUMANGA BLOCK,
Containing about 900 acres.

Is bounded on the North East by Native land, South East by the Ruamahanga River and Native land, South and South West by Native land, and North West by the Kahutara Block.

EAST COAST DISTRICT.

WHAWHANUI RESERVE.
Containing about 1000 acres.

Commencing at Witikaapeka on Te Ranga going along on the Ohiranga to Taumata o te Hapunga, then going Southwards to Herekuri, along the Herekuri to Wakahanui, along in the Wakahanui adjoining (or ending) at Witikaapeka.

Wai-nui-o-mata Highway District.

Wai-nui-o-mata Valley,

THE Board of Wardens for the Wai-nui-o-mata Road District give notice, that in consequence of having substituted a new line of road through Section No. 3, Lowry Bay Survey District, the property of Mrs. Emma Jackson, the old reserve at the East end and West end of the above named section, will forthwith be abandoned.

Matarawa Highway District.

NOTICE is hereby given, that pursuant to the provisions of the “District Highways Act 1862” a survey plan and section of the road proposed to be made, and called the Union line, in the Highway District of Matarawa, on the left bank of the Wanganui river, and a book containing the names of the owners or occupiers of the land on which such road is intended to be, with the other requirements of the said “District Highways Act 1862,” have been deposited at the Office of the Provincial Secretary of the Province at Wellington, and a meeting of the Board of Wardens for the District of Matarawa will be holden at the Board room at the Rutland Hotel, Wanganui, on Thursday, the 9th of April, at twelve o’clock at noon, to hear any objection or suggestion relative to the above mentioned works.

Sale of Valuable Building Allotments in the Town of Wellington, New Zealand, on the 27th May, 1863.

UNDER AUTHORITY OF AN ACT, Session III., No. 14, of the Provincial Council of Wellington, entitled “Harbour Reserves,” and of an Act, Session VIII., No. 3, of the said Provincial Council, entitled “Harbour Reserves Amendment,”—Notice is hereby given that the following Allotments of Land, situated in the Town of Wellington, will be offered for sale at Public Auction, at the Office of the Provincial Treasury, at Wellington, on WEDNESDAY, the 27th day of May, 1863, at 1 o’clock p. m., at the upset prices affixed in the subjoined Schedule, being lots that were sold on the 14th of April, 1858, but the purchase of which has not been completed.

Immediate payment in cash of one-tenth of the purchase-money shall be the condition of any such sale by auction, and the remaining nine-tenths of the purchase-money must be paid by the purchaser within one calendar month next after the time of such sale by auction, or the one tenth of the purchase-money which has been deposited will be forfeited, and the original contract for the sale of the land will thenceforward be null and void.

The Government reserves to itself the right of, at any time, withdrawing and altering the size of any of the allotments.

Any further conditions will be published either on or before the day of sale. In the meantime, information may be obtained, and plans inspected, on application at the office of the Provincial Secretary, Wellington.
