PROCLAMATION,

By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Islands of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by the Land Regulations now in force in the Province of Wellington it is declared that all Reserves for the sites of Townships or suburban lands for the sites of Agricultural and Small Farm Settlements, or for any other purpose of public advantage, safety, convenience, health, or enjoyment shall be determined by the Superintendent, who shall notify the same by Proclamation wherein the object shall be specified; for which any Reserve shall be made,

And whereas it would be of public advantage if certain lands in the Moroa Block in the Wairarapa District, were set apart for Educational and Cemetery purposes: Now therefore, I, Isaac Earl Featherston, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in virtue of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim, and declare that Section, number thirty eight (38), in the Moroa Block in the Wairarapa district, containing thirty five (35) acres, more or less, is hereby reserved and set apart for Educational purposes; that section number thirty nine (39), in the said Block containing five acres more or less, is hereby reserved and set apart for a Public Cemetery, and that section,

number forty (40), in the said Block containing two acres more or less, is hereby reserved and set apart as a cemetery for the use of Members of the Roman Catholic Church.

Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this eleventh day of March, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-two.

SUPREME COURT.

NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the Provisions of the “Imprisonment for Debt Ordinance, Session III., No. 7, this Court will sit at Wellington, on Tuesday, the 18th of March next, at two o’clock forenoon, for the hearing of the application of Henry Stokes, now confined as a prisoner, for relief and for the dispatch of all business arising under the provisions of the above Ordinance.
