FREEHOLD ALLOTMENTS

IN THE

TOWN OF WELLINGTON

NEW ZEALAND!

UNDER authority of 3rd Sect. Session III. No. 8, of the Provincial Council of Wellington entitled "The Reserves" and of an Act, Session VIII., No. 5, of the said Provincial Council entitled "Harbour Reserves Amendment",—Notice is hereby given that the following Allotments of Land situated in the Town of Wellington, will be offered for sale by Public Auction, at the Office of the Provincial Treasurer, at Wellington, on Wednesday, the 26th day of February, 1868, at One o’clock, p.m., at the upset prices affixed to the lots joined Schedule.

Immediate payment in cash of one-tenth of the purchased money shall be a condition of any such sale by auction, and the remaining nine-tenths of the purchase money must be paid by the purchaser within two calendar months next after the time of sale, together with the Government fee. In default whereof the deposit money will then become forfeited, and the land will be resold, and the original contract for the sale of the land will thenceforward be null and void.

The Government reserves to itself the right of, at any time, withdrawing and altering the upset price of any of the allotments.

Any further information will be published either on or before the day of sale. In the meantime, information may be obtained, and plans inspected, on application at the Offices of the Provincial Secretary, Wellington.
