Wellington, October 2, 1862.
Sir,—Begging reference to my Circular of August 13, respecting tenders
for a loan of £25,000, I have now the
honor to inform you, that in consequence
of the possible absence of the Superintendent on the day named for receiving
such tenders (the 25th inst.), the Members of the Provincial Executive now in
Wellington have decided to extend the
time until Thursday, the 25th of November, when tenders will be received at
the same hour and place, and under the
same terms and conditions as were set
forth in my former Circular.
I have the honor to remain, Sir,
Your most obedient servant,
J. Woodward,
Provincial Treasurer.
