WHEREAS by a notice issued from this office on the 30th August, 1860, and published in the New Zealand Government Gazette (No. 20) of the Province of Wellington on the 18th September, 1860, the Wairarapa District was subdivided into blocks for the purpose of enabling the Commissioner of Crown Lands to give an accurate description of the land to be included in Crown Grants:
And whereas it is expedient to alter and amend the boundaries of two of the said blocks, viz., the Ahiaruhe Block and the Warekaka Block, the boundaries of which, for the purpose aforesaid, will be as follows, viz:—
Ahiaruhe Block.
Bounded East by the Makahakaha river from its junction with the Ruamahanga river to its source in Te Uhuroa swamp, thence by the Wangaehu river from its source to its junction with the Huangarua river; South by the Huangarua river to its junction with the Ruamahanga river; West by the Ruamahanga river to the starting point.
Warekaka Block.
Bounded North by the Huangarua river; East by the Hga!agarua and Ruakakaputuna rivers; South by the Southern boundary of Section No. 22, commencing at the S.W. corner of said section No. 22, on a bearing of 278° till it strikes the Oruapounui stream, and West by the Ruamahanga river to its junction with the Huangarua river.

WHEREAS by a notice issued from this office on the 8th October, 1860, and published in the New Zealand Government Gazette (No. 21) of the Province of Wellington, on the 26th October, 1860, the East Coast District was subdivided into Blocks for the purpose of enabling the Commissioner of Crown Lands to give an accurate description of the land to be included in Crown Grants:
And whereas it is expedient to alter and amend the boundaries of the Awhea Block, the boundaries of which, for the purpose aforesaid, will be as follows, viz:—
Awhea Block.
Bounded North by the Southern boundaries of the Warekaka, Tupurupuru and Pahaua Blocks, East by the sea coast, South by the sea coast, and West by the sea coast, by the Aorangi Range, and by the Ruakakaputuna river.
