I, Stephen Carkeek, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the foregoing is a true
and faithful statement of my account as Collector of Customs for the period herein
mentioned, and that the sum of £4422 13s. 0d. Sterling, as above, is the whole
amount so received by me from the first to the twenty-eighth day of Feb., 1862
both days inclusive, and I do make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the
same to be true.
