I, Stephen Carkeek, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the foregoing is a true and faithful statement of my account as Collector of Customs for the period herein mentioned, and that the sum of £3032 9s. 4d. sterling, paid by me as above, is the whole amount so received by me from the first to the thirtieth day of Sept., 1861, both days inclusive; and I do make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
