PROVINCE OF WELLINGTON.
To all to whom these Presents shall come, I, William Henry Harrison, Esquire, Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Wellington Land District, send Greeting:
WHEREAS the several persons whose names are set and contained in the Schedule hereunder written, having been declared entitled to receive the sum of Twenty Shillings on each Grant, are now desirous of having the said sum deducted from the purchase money of their respective grants:
Now KNOW YE that I, the said William Henry Harrison, by virtue of the powers and authorities in me for this purpose vested by the New Zealand Government Scrip Act, 1856, do hereby authorise A. B. of (Signature)
to receive the said sum of Twenty Shillings in my stead for each grant.

Witness:
In cases where it is impossible for the party entitled to an officially issued Scrip to attend in person to receive his Deed, it will be delivered to his Solicitor or the Supreme Court.
