PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Islands of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by the Land Regulations now in force in the Province of Wellington it is declared that all Reserves for the sites of Townships or Suburban lands for the sites of Agricultural and Small Farm Settlements or for any other purpose of public advantage, safety, convenience, health, or enjoyment, shall be determined by the Superintendent who shall notify the same by Proclamation wherein the object shall be specified for which any Reserve shall be made: And WHEREAS it would be of public advantage if a certain Section of Land in the Moroa Block was set apart for Educational purposes; Now therefore I, Isaac Earl Featherston, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in virtue of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf; Do hereby Proclaim and declare, that Section (No. 37) Number thirty-seven, in the Moroa Block, in the
Wairarapa District, is hereby reserved and set apart by me for the purpose aforesaid.
Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of November, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-one.

HOROKIWI ROAD DISTRICT.
At a Meeting of Rate Payers for the Horokiwi Road District held on the 18th November, 1861, the following persons were elected a Board of Wardens for the said District.

- James McEwen,
- Neil Cameron,
- William Bassett,
- Joseph Gigger, and
- R. Reif, Chairman of the Board.
