George O’Rorke, Esq., ... Clerk of the Executive Council
Thomas Beckham, Esq., ... Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Province of New Ulster
Robert Graham, Esq., ... Resident Magistrate at Russell
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.

The undermentioned persons have been appointed to the situations specified, subject to Her Majesty’s approval:—

Auckland, 28th February, 1854.
In the matter of the estate of Robert FitzRoy, Esq., late Governor of New Zealand, deceased.
Notice is hereby given, that all persons having claims against the estate of the late Robert FitzRoy, Esq., are required to send in the particulars of such claims to the undersigned on or before the 31st day of March, 1854.

Notice is hereby given, that the Chief Justice has appointed Friday, the 31st day of March, 1854, at the Supreme Court, Auckland, for the public examination of the insolvent.

Notice is hereby given, that the following rates of duties will be charged on goods imported into the Province of New Munster, under the authority of the Customs Ordinance, 1841:—
- Spirits ... per gallon
- Wine ... per gallon
- Tobacco ... per lb.
LAND.
NOTICE TO SETTLERS.
All persons holding land under occupation licenses in the Province of New Ulster are hereby required to renew the same on or before the 31st day of March, 1854, on payment of the annual fee.
