THE following communication relative to the non-existence of Pleuro Pneumonia in the Wanganui District is published for general information.

SIR,—I have the honor to inform you that no symptoms of the disease called Pleuro Pneumonia has made its appearance in this part of the Province that I am aware of.
Should it show its symptoms here eventually, I shall make the same known.

As Collector of the rate for the Educational District of Greytown, has been certified under the signature of Mr. Samuel Moles, Chairman at a General Meeting of the rate payers, held at Greytown on the 11th instant, the rate commencing on the 1st day of August ensuing.

TOWN BELT.
NOTICE.
IT having been stated to the Provincial Government that certain persons are fencing and occupying portions of the Town Belt in the City of Wellington, notice is hereby given to such persons and all others, that such proceedings are illegal, and will expose the persons unlawfully taking possession of the said land to all the consequences of illegal occupation.
