✨ Provincial Government Speech

and cordially to co-operate in endeavouring to
obliterate all traces of the past dissensions, and in
promoting by means of the ample funds at our
disposal the welfare and prosperity of all classes
of the community; and finally, to assure you,
that however unwilling I might have felt, while
the Province was involved in difficulties, to
desert the post which in spite of all the anxieties
and responsibilities it has entailed, I have so long

difficulty, so far as my retirement, once and for
ever from my present office, possibly can.

I. E. FEATHERSTON,
SUPERINTENDENT.
