NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the Road Rates imposed on the Sections No. 1, 4, 5, 8, 10, 14, 16, 19 and 21, in the "South Makara Road district" not having been paid, and upwards of six months having elapsed since the passing of the assessment, it is the intention of the Board of Wardens, to sell the portions of such several sections hereinafter described, viz :β

And notice is hereby also given, that Mr. James Smith, of Lambton Quay, Merchant and Auctioneer, has been appointed by His Honor the Superintendent, to sell the same, and that plans of the land to be sold are deposited at Mr. Smith's offices.

Middle District.
NOTICE is hereby given that a Sitting of the Supreme Court for the Middle District of New Zealand, for the despatch of Civil and Criminal business, will be holden at the Court House, in the Provincial Government Buildings at Wellington, on THURSDAY, the first day of March next, at Ten o'clock in the forenoon, pursuant to proclamation; at which time and place, all persons bound by recognizances, prosecutors, witnesses, or defendants are required to give their attendance.
Notice is hereby further given, that the Civil Causes will not be called on for trial until THURSDAY, the eighth day of March, at ten o'clock, a.m., to which time the Sittings of the said Circuit Court will be adjourned after the conclusion of the Criminal business.
The Supreme Court will sit in Banco on THURSDAY, the first day of March, at half-past ten o'clock, a.m.
