NOTICE is hereby given that the Commissioner of Crown Lands has, for the purpose of giving a more accurate definition in the Grants to be issued to purchasers from the Crown in the Wairarapa District, sub-divided the same into the several blocks enumerated in the Schedule annexed.

SCHEDULE.

OPAKI BLOCK.

Bounded North by a line running East and West, commencing at the Tararua Range and running across the head of the Opaki Plain till it strikes the Kopuarangi River; East, the Kopuarangi River to its junction with the Ruamahanga River, and down that river to the northern boundary of the Masterton Hundred; South, the northern boundary of the Masterton Hundred; West, the Tararua Range.

TARATAHI PLAIN BLOCK.

Bounded North by the Waingawa River; East, by the Ruamahanga River; South, by the Waiohine River; and West, by the Tararua Range. Excepting always the Township of Carterton, the boundaries of which have already been defined.

AHIARUHE BLOCK.

Bounded East by the Makahakaha River from its junction with the Ruamahanga River to the southern boundary line of the Tupurupuru Block, thence by a line bearing 201° 0' to the Oyster-shell Hill Trig. Station, and a continuation of that line till it strikes the Huangarua River; South, by the Huangarua River; and West, by the Ruamahanga River.

WAREKAKA BLOCK.

Commencing at the junction of the Ruamahanga and Huangarua Rivers, and up the latter river to the head of the Houtotara Plain, thence by a line bearing 113° 30' to the Waihora or Dry River, thence by the Aorangi Range to the Oruapounui Stream, thence down that stream to the Ruamahanga River, and up that river to the starting point.

TURANGANUI BLOCK.

Bounded North by the Oruapounui Stream; East, by the Aorangi Range; South, by Pattison's Bay and the lower Wairarapa Lake; West, by the Ruamahanga River.

MOROA BLOCK.

Bounded North by the Waiohine River; East, by the Ruamahanga River; South, by the southern boundary of Bidwell's homestead and by a line bearing 262° 15' from the westernmost point of the said homestead to the Tauherenikau River; West, by the Tauherenikau River and Tararua Range. Excepting always the Township of Greytown, the boundaries of which have already been defined.
