I, STEPHEN CARKEEK, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the foregoing is a true and faithful statement of my account as Collector of Customs for the period herein mentioned, and that the sum of £4242 13s. 11d. sterling paid by me as above is the whole amount so received by me from the 1st to the 31st day of March, 1859, both days inclusive, and I do make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
