NOTICE.

WHEREAS, Thomas Roberts, of Pigeon Bush, in the Wairarapa District, has consented to allow of a diversion of the road which was laid off in front of his land, so that the same will hereafter pass at the head of a certain lagoon defined on the plan of the said lands, across Sections Nos. 187, 190, 192 and 195, the said Thomas Roberts is hereby authorised (by virtue of the power in me vested by a certain Act of the Provincial Council entitled "An Act to extend the Provisions of the Highway’s Act, 1856,") to erect gates across the said road, whereon it may be crossed by any fence, provided that such gates can be conveniently opened and shut by any traveller on horseback without dismounting.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN,

that a Pound has been erected, adjoining the premises of Mr. Ellerslie Wallace at the junction of the Pitone and Ngahaurangha roads, and that His Honor the Superintendent has appointed the same to be a Public Pound.

Notice is also given, that His Honor the Superintendent has been pleased to appoint

Ellerslie Wallace,
To be Keeper of such Pound.
