HIS HONOR the Superintendent directs it to be notified for general information, that a Writ for the election of one Member to serve in the Provincial Council, for the Wairarapa District, having been issued in accordance with clause 12, of “An Act to grant a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand,” the Returning Officer has returned the said Writ, with a certificate that the undermentioned Gentleman has been duly elected to serve as a Member of the said Provincial Council for the said Wairarapa District.
