to be the person with whom the approved copies or models of the Standard Weights and Measures of the Colony shall be deposited at Wellington.

IN Pursuance of the 8th clause of the “Weights and Measures Ordinance,” Session VII, No. 10, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the “Broad Arrow” as the proper mark or stamp to be fixed on weights and measures compared with the approved copies or models of the Standard Weights and Measures of the Colony, and found true.

to be a Trustee of the Lands granted as an endowment of a College and Grammar School in the Town of Wellington.

SUPREME COURT.

Middle District.

NOTICE is hereby Given that a Sitting of the Supreme Court for the Middle District of New Zealand, for the dispatch of Civil and Criminal business, will be helden at the Court House, in the Provincial Government Buildings, at Wellington, on Thursday the first day of December next, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, pursuant to Proclamation; at which time and place all persons bound by Recognizances, Prosecutors, Witnesses, or Defendants are required to give their attendance.

Notice is hereby further given that the Civil causes will not be called on for trial until Thursday, the 8th day of December, at ten o’clock, a.m., to which time the Sittings of the said Circuit Court will be adjourned after the conclusion of the Criminal business.

The Supreme Court will sit in Banco on Thursday, the 15th day of December, at half-past ten o’clock, a.m.,

VICE ADMIRALTY COURT.

THIS COURT will sit for the dispatch of business in the Provincial Government Buildings, on Thursday, the 15th day of December next, at 10 o’clock, a.m., when all persons whom it may concern are required to give their attendance.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Sitting of the District Court of Wanganui, for the dispatch of Civil and Criminal business, will be holden at the Resident Magistrate’s Court House, Wanganui, in the Province of Wellington, on Wednesday the 21st day of December next, or so soon after as practicable, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by Recognizances, Prosecutors, Witnesses, or Defendants are required to give their attendance.

Notice is hereby further given that the Civil Causes will not be called on for Trial until Friday, the 23rd day of December, at ten o’clock, to which time the Sittings of the said Court will be adjourned after the conclusion of the Criminal business.
