I, Charles Sharp, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the foregoing is a true and faithful statement of my account, as Acting Collector of Customs for the period herein mentioned, and that the sum of £3644 12s. 3d. sterling, paid by S. Carkeek, Collector, and me, Acting Collector as above stated, is the whole amount so received by him and me, from the first to the thirty-first day of May, 1858, both days inclusive, and I do make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
