I, Stephen Carkeek, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the foregoing is a true and faithful statement of my account as Collector of Customs for the period herein mentioned; and that the sum of £3801 10s. 9d., Sterling, paid by me as above stated, is the whole amount so received by me from the first to the thirty-first day of March, 1858, both days inclusive, and I do make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
