PROCLAMATION
By His Honor ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Islands of New Zealand.
WHEREAS, by the District Highways Act, 1856, of the Provincial Council of Wellington, Session III., No. 4, it was among other things enacted, that the Superintendent might for the purposes of that Act, from time to time, by Proclamation divide the Province, or any part thereof, into Districts:
Now, therefore, I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby proclaim that the part of the Province comprised within the boundaries hereinafter described shall be a District, for the purposes of the said "District Highways Act, 1856," viz.:--Along the North-Eastern boundary lines of Sections Sixty-five, Sixty-six, and Sixty-seven; thence along the South-Eastern and South-Western boundary lines of Section Sixty-seven; thence along the Eastern boundary lines of Sections Seventy, Seventy-one, Seventy-two, and Seventy-four; thence along the Southern boundary lines of Sections Seventy-three and Seventy-four; thence along the South-Western boundary lines of Sections Seventy-three, Seventy-one, and Sixty-nine; thence along the North-Western boundary lines of Sections Sixty-nine and Sixty-eight; thence along the South-Western boundary line of Section Sixty-five to the Road; and thence along the North-Western boundary line of Section Sixty-five.
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of April, One thousand eight hundred and fifty-eight.

SALE OF VALUABLE BUILDING ALLOTMENTS IN THE TOWN OF WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND
UNDER Authority of an Act, Session III., No. 14, of the Provincial Council of Wellington, entitled "Harbour Reserves," Notice is Hereby Given, that the following Allotments of Land situated in the Town of Wellington, will be offered for Sale at Public Auction, at the Office of the Provincial Treasurer, at Wellington, on Wednesday, the eighth September, 1858, at One o’Clock, p.m., at the upset prices affixed in the subjoined Schedule.
Immediate payment in Cash of One-Tenth of the Purchase Money shall be the condition of any such Sale by Auction, and the remaining nine-tenths of the Purchase Money must be paid by the Purchaser within one Calendar Month next after the time of such Sale by Auction, or the One-tenth of the Purchase Money which has been deposited will be forfeited, and the Original Contract for the Sale of the Land will thenceforward be null and void.
In case any lot or lots shall not be sold on the day of Sale, now advertised, the Sale will be adjourned until Thursday, the thirtieth day of September, 1858, when such unsold lot or lots will be again put up to Public Auction, on the same terms and conditions.
Any further particulars will be published on or before the day of sale. In the meantime, information may be obtained, and plans inspected, on application at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Wellington.
