PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, ESQUIRE, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Islands of New Zealand.
I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, Do hereby proclaim and appoint that the Provincial Council of Wellington shall meet for the despatch of business at the Council Chamber in Wellington, on Tuesday the Second day of June next, at Three o’clock in the afternoon.
Given under my hand and Issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this Twelfth day of May, One thousand eight hundred and fifty-seven.

NOTICE.
Harbor Office, Wellington,

A RED BUOY is laid down in three fathoms water on the northern extreme of a rock situated about a cables length to the north-westward of Point Jerningham. Vessels entering or quitting the harbour should not approach the Buoy nearer than one hundred yards, and not attempt to pass between it and the Point, as there are detached rocks in the passage nearly dry at low water.

SUPREME COURT.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Sitting of the Supreme Court, for the despatch of Criminal business, will be held at the Court House, Wellington, on Wednesday the 3rd day of June next, (the 1st and 2nd being Holidays), at ten o’clock in the forenoon, and that a Sitting for the despatch of Civil business will be held at the Court House on Monday the eighth day of June next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons under recognizances, either as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses, are required to give their attendance.

NOTICE is Hereby Given, that His Honor Sidney Stephen, Esquire, Chief Justice of this Honorable Court, having on the 25th day of April instant, granted to the Undersigned Letters ad colligendum for the management and preservation of this Estate until further Order of Court, all persons indebted to the Estate are required to pay the accounts due to the Estate, and all persons in possession of any part of the personal property of the deceased, are required to give delivery thereof to the Undersigned, or his authorised Agents forthwith, under certification, &c.
