HEREBY give notice that I have received the undermentioned Protests against the awards of the late Commissioner of Crown Lands in the Ahuriri District, and that I shall hold a Court at Napier on the 20th day of March next, or as soon as may be practicable, to hear and decide upon the same.
WILLIAM FOX,
Chief Land Commissioner.

| Name of Party Protesting. | District. | Names of Parties affected by Protest, and ground of Protest. |
|---|---|---|
| R. J. Duncan | Rua Tanuiwha | Messrs. Marshall, Worgan, and Fannin; to whom portions of Run applied for by Mr. Duncan, have been awarded by the late Commissioner. |
Mr. Duncan protests against these awards on the ground of the priority of his own application and the insufficiency of the quantity awarded to him. |
| W. B. Rhodes, for self and Joseph Rhodes | Hawke’s Bay | Messrs. Ashton St. Hill and George Moore. Protests on the ground of priority of application, and injury arising from position of Runs awarded to Messrs. St. Hill and Moore. |
