I, STEPHEN CARKEEK, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the foregoing is a
true and faithful Statement of my Account as Collector of Customs for the period
herein mentioned, and that the sum of £3392 6s. 1d., Sterling, paid by me as above
stated, is the whole amount so received by me from the First to the Thirty-first day of
January, 1857, both days inclusive, and I do make this solemn declaration conscienti-
ously, believing the same to be true.
