THE Trigonometrical Survey of the Wairarapa Valley being now completed, the Government is prepared to Contract for the Survey of certain purchased blocks in the said Valley and on the East Coast.

Specifications, with Copies of the Applications for the Land requiring Survey may be inspected at the Land Office in Wellington on and after Monday next the 21st inst. Tenders under cover indorsed “Wairarapa Survey,” to be sent to the Undersigned by noon on the 6th January next.

TO LAND PURCHASERS IN THE RANGITIKI AND TURAKINA DISTRICTS.

THE SELECTED SECTIONS in the above districts having been Surveyed, Notice is hereby given that the Government is prepared to put the Owners or their Agents in possession and to point out the boundaries &c.

Purchasers not availing themselves of this notice before the 1st May, next, will not be entitled to the services of a Government Surveyor in discovering the boundaries of their land, and no further Survey of the same will be executed by the Government in case of any lines or other marks becoming eradicated.

TENDERS will be received, at this Office for the erection of a Look-out at the Hutt, until noon of Tuesday the 29th Inst.

Plans and specifications may be seen at the above Office, or at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, who will be prepared to indicate the exact site to intending Contractors.
