NORTH WESTERN ROAD.

Notice to Contractors.

TENDERS will be received at this Office until Noon of Tuesday the 22nd December next, for keeping the North Western Road in repair for a period of twelve months from 1st January 1858.

TO CONTRACTORS.

NOTICE is Hereby Given, that Mr. Roy, the Provincial Engineer, will be in attendance at Wanganui, on or about the 5th day of December next, in order to afford information on the spot to all persons desirous to Contract for the erection of a Bridge over the Wanganui River.

Plans and Specifications may be seen on application to Mr. Roy, at the Rutland Hotel, Wanganui, from that date until the 24th December next, up to noon of which day, tenders for the work will be received there.

All Tenders to be sealed and endorsed “Tenders for Bridge over the Wanganui River,” and to be addressed to the Provincial Secretary, under cover to John Roy, Esquire, Provincial Engineer, Wanganui.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS.

TENDERS will be received for widening portions of the Remutaka road, between the Summit Level and Drake’s Elbow. Intending contractors are requested to meet Mr. Anderson, the Assistant Engineer, on the summit, at 11 o’clock a.m., on Tuesday, the 22nd day of December next, who will point out the work and receive tenders.

SUPREME COURT.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Sitting of the Supreme Court, for the despatch of Criminal Business will be held at the Court House, Wellington, on Tuesday the first day of December next, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, and that a Sitting for the despatch of Civil Business will be held at the Court House, Wellington, on Monday the seventh day of December next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons under Recognizances to appear either as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses, are required to give their attendance.
