Wellington, 9th June, 1857.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the undermentioned Applications have been Registered at this Office, and at the Land Office, Ahuriri, and that failing objections duly given to the Chief Land Commissioner within three months from the date hereof, Licences for the Runs will be issued to the applicants:—

Terawite George Henry Luxford On the Northward, Native Reserve Opare, and part of Karori District. Eastward—Makara and Ohiro Districts. Southward — Sea Coast. Westward—Sea Coast. 8,000
Ahuriri Mohaka Block Robert Riddell South-East—the Sea. South-West—the Waita Stream, so far as its general course may be North-Westerly, thence by a line running North-Westerly to a point about four miles inland, thence by a line running North-Easterly, so as to strike North-West boundary of award proclaimed in Gazette No. 24 of 1856. North-East—the boundary of former award. 5,000
Ahuriri Block William Couper, jun. South—the Tutae-kuri River. North-East—Mungatutu Creek. East—Mungatutu Stream and Tutae-kuri River. West—a line from about the head of the Mungatutu to strike the Tutae-kuri River, about Ko-maire-poike so as to include about 10,000 acres. 10,000
Maraeakakaho Block Thomas Mason Commencing at Waihora on the Mangaonuku, thence that stream to the junction of the Mangarara, thence by a line running due North-East to a point on the Ta Hoke Stream, about one mile West of small bush on boundary line of Block, thence by a line due East to same Bush, about one mile due South of Waka Pirou Bush, thence the Boundary of the Block to starting point. 10,000
Maraeakakaho Block Frederick Francis Ormond Commencing at the junction of the Mangarara with the Mangaonuku, thence that stream to Pari Karangaranga—thence Mr. Oliver’s South-East Boundary to Waikankau—thence the Maraeakakaho and Ta Heke Streams until the latter strikes Mr. Mason’s South-East Boundary, thence that Boundary to starting point. 10,000
