NOTICE.
Province of Wellington.
ELECTORAL ROLL, 1857-58.
Copies of the List of Claims having been prepared and posted in the several Districts to which such Claims refer, a special meeting of the Magistrates will be held at the “Rising Sun,” Greytown, Wairarapa, on Friday, the 26th day of June, instant, at 12 o’clock at noon, to hear and determine objections to claims for the
Wairarapa District,
At the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Napier, on Monday, the 29th day of June, instant, at 12 o’clock, at noon, for the
Hawke’s Bay District,
And on Monday, the 29th day of June, instant, at 12 o’clock, at noon, at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Wellington, for the undernentioned Districts, viz.,
City of Wellington,
Wellington Country Districts, and the
Hutt District.
And to form the Electoral Roll for the year 1857-58.
Any person whose name is on the List or Roll may object to any other person as not entitled to have his name retained on the Electoral Roll. But ten days notice in writing, of such objection, and of the grounds thereof, must be given to the Person objected to, and to the Resident Magistrate, and the objector must appear in person at one of the above-named places of meeting in the District to which the Claim refers, on the day named above for such District or Districts, in support of such objection, and must there and then prove due service of his notice of objection.
