sion 3, No. 5, is extended to 1st day of
August next.

NOTICE is hereby given, that by Deed
bearing date the 27th day of May, 1856,
WILLIAM VILLERS, of the Town of Napier, in
the District of Ahuriri, in the Province of Wel-
lington, Hotel-keeper, hath conveyed and as-
signed ALL his Estate and Effects whatsoever
to John Sydney Smith, of the City of Welling-
ton, Storekeeper, and Gilbert Pickett, of the
same city, Draper, Trustees upon trust for the
benefit of the Creditors of the said William
Villers; and that the said deed was executed
by the said William Villers, on the 27th day of
May, 1856, in the presence of, and was wit-
nessed by Joseph Rhodes, of Kidnapper Sta-
tion, Ahuriri, sheep-owner, and Thomas Slater,
of Napier, Ahuriri, clerk, and was, on the 24th
day of June, 1856, executed by the said Gilbert
Pickett, in the presence of John Hare, of Wel-
lington, clerk, and Henry Owen, of Wellington,
draper.—Dated the 24th day of June, 1856.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Co-
partnership carried on for some time past
between the Undersigned, under the Firm of
JAMES MAY and Co., was, on the 1st day of
June, 1856, dissolved by mutual consent. Mr.
JAMES MAY is empowered to discharge and
settle all debts due to and by the said Co-
partnership concern.—Dated at Wellington,
the 12th day of June, 1856.
