Warra warra, the Harbor, as far as the
Kora Kora stream, Obiro, Karori, Makara,
Town, Watt’s Peninsula, Ohariu, Takapu,
Horokiri, Porirua, the country between
the Porirua District, and the Manawatu
river, and the islands of Kapiti and Mana.

  1. The RANGITIKEI District com-
    pprises the Country between the Manawatu
    River, the Wangaehu River, the
    Coast and the Ruahine range of hills.

  2. The WANGANUI District com-
    pprises the Country between the Wangaehu
    River, the Northern Boundary of the
    Province, the Coast, and the Ruahine
    range of hills.

  3. The HUTT District comprises
    the general Districts of the Hutt, the Upper
    Hutt, the Pakuratahi to the summit of
    the Rimutaka Range, the Lowry Bay,
    Wainui Omata, and adjacent country to
    the Rimutaka range of hills.

  4. The WAIRARAPA District com-
    prieses the Country between the Rimutaka
    range of hills, the Coast, and a line drawn
    from Cape Turnagain on the East Coast
    to the Gorge of the Manawatu in the
    Ruahine range of hills.

  5. The MANGAWATU District com-
    prieses the Country north of the line from Cape
    Turnagain on the east coast, to the
    Manawatu Gorge in the Ruahine Range,
    and between the Northern Boundary
    Line of the Province, the Coast and the
    Ruahine range of hills.

to be a Board of Commissioners “to in-
quire into certain alleged claims for
compensation under certain contracts of
the New Zealand Company and Native
Disturbances.

VICE ADMIRALTY COURT.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting
of the Vice Admiralty Court of the
Southern District for the despatch of
Civil business, will be holden at the
Court House, Wellington, on Thursday,
the 10th day of August next, at ten
o’clock in the forenoon, at which time
and place all persons, either as pro-
movents, defendants or witnesses, are re-
quired to give their attendance.

NOTICE.

THE COMMISSIONERS appointed
under the Act of the Provincial
Council, Session II. No. 12, to enquire
into certain alleged claims for compensa-
tion, under certain contracts of the New
Zealand Company, and for loss sustained
during the Native Disturbances, hereby
give Notice, that they will hold a Court
to receive and enquire into claims under
the said Act in the several districts, and
on the days as annexed, at which parties
proposing to prefer such claims for com-
pensation as aforesaid, are invited to at-
tend at the Athenaeum, the Hutt, on
Monday, July 23rd, Wednesday, July
25th, Thursday, July 26th.

At the Half-Way House, Porirua Road,
Monday, July 30th.

At Wellington, at the late Treasury
Office, Government Buildings, Wednes-
day, Aug. 1st, Thursday, Aug. 2nd.

At Wanganui, Monday, Aug. 13.

At each day at Twelve o’clock.

Claimants residing in the district of
Manawatu are forthwith requested to
transmit their claims to the care of F.
Robinson, Esq., Manawatu.

Claimants in the Lower District of
Rangitikei, to the care of Mr. Scott,
Ferry house, Rangitikei.

Claimants in the District of Wanganui
and in Turakina to the care of J. Nixon,
Esq., Wanganui.

Such Claim to set forth name, place
of abode of claimant, name of the vessel
in which the same was a passenger, time
of arrival in the colony, nature of loss
and amount thereof.

N.B.—By the 5th clause of the above
mentioned Act, no claim shall be enter-
tained by the said Commissioners except
the same be sent to them within six
months from the publication of a Notice
by the Commissioners that they are ready
to receive and enquire into claims under
this Act.
