FOOTPATHS TO BE PROCLAIMED
Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, March 15th, 1876.
IN exercise of the authority given by an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of Taranaki, intituled, “The Municipal Police Ordinance, 1872,” I, Frederico Alonzo Carrington, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby give notice and declare that the undermentioned Footpaths shall henceforth be deemed and taken to be Public Footpaths within the meaning of an Ordinance of the Lieutenant-Governor of New Zealand, and of the Legislative Council thereof, intituled, “An Ordinance to provide for the protection of Footpaths in the Colony of New Zealand,” and shall be protected accordingly.
Town of Carlyle, Patea,—
Taranaki Road,
South side, from the corner of the Union-thanks Road to Rutland-street, width 12 feet.
North side, from Stafford-street to Bedford-street, width 12 feet.

THE following ALLOTMENTS in the Town of Inglewood having been offered for sale by public auction, and not sold, will be open for SELECTION for CASH on Saturday, 25th day of March next ensuing, at the upset price placed opposite the respective numbers, in accordance with Clause 36 of “The Taranaki Waste Lands Act, 1874.”
