IT is hereby notified that his Excellency the Governor has re-appointed HENRY WESTON, Esq., J.P., to be a member of the New Plymouth Harbour Board, under the 16th Section of "The New Plymouth Harbour Board Ordinance, 1875."

SALE OF LAND IN THE MOA DISTRICT AND TOWNSHIP OF INGLEWOOD.

IN pursuance and exercise of the authority in me vested by "The Taranaki Waste Lands Act, 1874," I hereby declare that the following Allotments of land in the Moa District and Township of Inglewood, as shown on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the Province, are hereby set apart to be sold for cash by public auction:--

MOA DISTRICT.

Allotment of Land bounded by the north-west corner of Inglewood, by the Waiongona-iti stream, and the Mountain Road, containing about 4 acres 3 roods 2½ perches. No. 179, Moa District, containing 400 acres.

TOWNSHIP OF INGLEWOOD.

Allotments Nos. 4, 5, 14, 15, 25, 35, 45, 55, 56, 67, 68, 76, 79, 80, 88, 91, 92, 99, 100, 103, 104, 110, 112, 113, 116, 117, 301, 372, 373.

ANY person in charge of any cart or vehicle of any description, approaching within forty feet of any boat until all passengers are safely landed on the beach (unless requested by the master of the boat), will be liable to penalty of five pounds, under the 66th Clause of the Harbour Regulations of New Zealand, which will be strictly enforced.

Clause 66.—"All watermen, stevedores, carters, or others engaged on any wharf or jetty, or at any public landing place, shall be under the control and obey the orders of the Harbour or Pier Master; and any person disobeying this regulation, or in any way obstructing the traffic on any wharf or jetty or public landing place, or making use of abusive or improper language thereon, shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding five pounds."
