LAND RESERVED FOR HARBOUR PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, by the "Taranaki Waste Lands Act, 1874," it is enacted, that Reserves for the use of the Provincial Government and for other public purposes of a similar character may upon the recommendation of the Executive Council be made by the Superintendent. And whereas the Provincial Council of Taranaki base, by resolution of 30th May, 1874, recommended the Superintendent to reserve the following parcels of land in the Town of New Plymouth and the Grey and Omata Districts, in the Province of Taranaki.

(1.) The parcel of land known as Monck’s Woodcombe Terrace, containing by admeasurement two acres and twenty-five perches, bounded towards the north-east by bigwater mark; towards the east by a road and a line in continuance of the west side of it, to highwater mark, three hundred and eighty-one links; and towards the south by Molineaux-street, one thousand one hundred and thirty-five links.

(2.) The following pieces of land, numbered 949A on the plan of the Town of New Plymouth, containing by admeasurement two roods two perches, bounded towards the north by Courtenay-street one hundred and twenty-six links, towards the east by allotments nine hundred and forty-nine and nine hundred and sixty-one, four hundred and ten links towards the south by Leach-street, one hundred and twenty-six links, and towards the west by allotments nine hundred and fifty-eight, four hundred and ten links.

(3.) The following parcel of land in the Town of New Plymouth, known as Pipiko, formerly Native Reserve, containing by admeasurement four acres and thirty-two perches, bounded towards the north by parts of allotments three hundred and ninety-two, three hundred and ninety-three, three hundred and ninety-four, and three hundred and ninety-five, three hundred and sixty-five links; towards the east by parts of allotments three hundred and ninety-five, four hundred and twenty-four, four hundred and twenty-one, and four hundred and forty-six, four hundred and forty-eight, and Bultel-street.
