TARANAKI GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.

FOOTPATHS TO BE PROCLAIMED.

Superintendent's Office,
New Plymouth, June 13, 1876.

In exercise of the authority given by
I. an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of Tara-
naki, intituled, "The Municipal Police
Ordinance, 1872," I, Fredk. Alozo
Carrington, Esquire, Superintendent
of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby
give notice and declare that the under-
mentioned Footpaths shall hereforth
be deemed and taken to be Public Foot-
paths within the meaning of an Ordin-
ance of the Lieutenant-Governor of
New Zealand, and of the Legislative
Council thereof, intituled, "An Ordi-
nance to provide for the formation of
Footpaths in the Colony of New Zea-
land," and shall be protected, accor-
dingly:β€”

John's, on the East side of Queen-
street leading from Wellington-
street to the Railway Station.

Footpath on the West side of Queen-
street leading from Wellington-
street to the Railway Station.

Footpath on the East side of Queen-
street leading from the Railway
junction to Molesworth-street, fifteen
feet wide.

RECEIVER OF LAND REVENUE, TARANAKI, RETIRED AND APPOINTED.

been pleased to appoint

to be Receiver of Land Revenue for
the Province of Taranaki, vice Richard
Chilman, Esq., retired, from the
1st instant.

IT is hereby notified that the under-
mentioned Allotments of Rural
Land adjoining Maori Blocks have been
set apart as Reserves for Educational
