THE TOWN BOARDS OF TARANAKI ORDINANCE, 1875.

New Plymouth, August 14th, 1875.
IN pursuance and exercise of the authority vested in me by "The Town Boards of Taranaki Ordinance, 1875," and with the advice and consent of the Provincial Council, I hereby declare that the Town of Carlyle, bounded as follows - Towards the North and East by the Patea River; towards the South by waste land; towards the West by Suburban Sections numbered 50, 51, 52, and 53; and towards the North-west by Suburban Sections numbered 39, 38, 37, 36, and by a Government reserve - shall on and after the date hereof be subject to the provisions of the Ordinances in the schedule hereto; and I further declare that the number of members which shall form the Board of the said Town shall be seven.

GENERAL MEETING OF OWNERS AND OCCUPIERS OF LAND TO ELECT TOWN BOARD FOR CARLYLE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me, I hereby declare that a GENERAL MEETING of the owners and occupiers of land in the Town of Carlyle will be held in the Court House, Carlyle, on MONDAY, the 23rd instant, at 12 noon, for the purpose of electing Seven Members to form the Town Board of Carlyle.
