TARANAKI GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.

ANNUAL RETURN OF SHEEP.

Sir,—I have the honor to forward the Annual Returns of Sheep for the Province of Taranaki, 1873.

I have also to add that four thousand two hundred and nineteen Sheep (4,219), during the twelve months, were exported to Auckland Market; and that forty-one (41) Rams were imported from various provinces in New Zealand; also three Bulls and five Cows from Australia; and fifty-three head of Cattle from Chatham Islands.
