Sir,—I have the honor to report my arrival from inspecting the sheep and cattle in the Hawera and Patea Districts. The sheep have wintered well, show no signs of disease, and the increase of lambs has been over 100 per cent.

THE NATIVE LANDS FRAUDS PREVENTION ACT, 1870.

The Trust Commissioner for the Province of Taranaki will sit in the Court Room in the Taranaki Institute, for the transaction of business under the Act, on every Thursday, at half-past 10 o’clock a.m. Should there be business in the District Court, applications under “The Native Lands Frauds Prevention Act, 1870,” will be adjourned until the following day.
